Silcoplast AG takes the production of phaco sleeves to a new level by combining precision, safety, many years of experience and continuous innovation. Sleeves are crucial for a successful surgical procedure and contribute significantly to the improvement of surgical results. Our extensive production experience over many years and continuous improvement have made the sleeves and the associated test chamber an indispensable tool.
Our more than 15 years of experience in sleeve production at the Wolfhalden site is a strong foundation on which to build our future goals. With the introduction of distal holes in the sleeves and the expansion of our production capacities, we are ideally equipped to continue supplying our customers with first-class products and to be able to react quickly to future customer requirements.
The main target group for our Phaco Sleeves customers includes ophthalmologists, ophthalmic surgeons, hospitals, surgical centres, medical technology companies and research institutions.
The silicone material from which Silcoplast AG's Phaco Sleeves are made is flexible, durable and fulfils the legal requirements of the medical industry in every respect. The manufacturing process is carried out using injection moulding, which enables precise and efficient production. Finally, the Phaco sleeves undergo strict quality control before they are delivered to our customers.
Silcoplast produces the sleeves in different sizes and with the corresponding colour coding. This colour coding of the Phaco sleeves enables quick and efficient identification of the correct size, which reduces errors and optimises the surgical process. This is particularly important in the hectic environment of an operating theatre, where time and precision are of the essence.
Using a high-precision valve gate mould to manufacture the test chamber, we ensure that the test chambers also meet the highest quality standards. By manufacturing the sleeves and the test chambers in-house, we can offer our customers an interesting combination.
